My youngest boy...

...getting dangerously smart.  Very dangerously.  Case in point, a couple of days ago, I noticed him pulling a plug out of an outlet in the kitchen and then trying very hard to put it back.  Naturally, I stopped that.  However, the next day, he pulled an electric mixer out of the kitchen and started pulling it - by the plug - straight to the same outlet.  He knew right where that thing went.  My wife and laughed a lot, as I pulled the mixer away from him of course...

New Blog

A new blog just started over at kofcculture.blogspot.com. It's main purpose is to promote a conference in Grand Rapids, MI entitled the 1st Annual Culture of Life Conference: The Dignity and Value of Human Life. There will be plenty of updates concerning the conference and various culture of life issues, so visit often.

My kids...

...are awesome.  Case in point.  During Father's Day weekend, I took the two oldest to Chicago to go to a Lego convention.  Other than the fact that they really did great with all the driving and walking we did, they really touched me with their gifts.  On Father's Day morning they gave me little things that they had made themselves.  The oldest gave me note telling me how great she thinks I am and the boy gave me a little shaker thing so we can make music together.  But what really got me was that they both gave me part of their allowance.  Why?  So we can afford a bigger house.  I almost cried.
